We are a sports medical center located in Halle. You can go there as a recreational or elite athlete for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries.
What do we offer
Sports consultations
- Are you suffering from an injury? Then you can come here for the diagnosis and treatment of acute (e.g. muscle injuries, sports trauma) or chronic injuries (tendon injuries,...).
- Review of your physical health and guidance in your sports performance
(sports) Ultrasound
- In this practice we use ultrasound, so we can quickly diagnose and correctly treat your injuries.

Sports examination
- To play sports safely, it is important to know where you stand with your physical health. A sports medical examination can provide a lot of clarity. You can request a sports medical fitness examination yourself as a recreational or competitive athlete, or it can be imposed by your sports federation. The purpose of this examination is the preventive detection of risk factors that can cause health problems during sports practice. We follow the Flemish Recommendation for Sports Examinations (VASO). Prior to your consultation, you will fill out an extensive questionnaire online at www.sportkeuring.be which will be forwarded to the relevant doctor of this practice
3D gait analysis
- With this system, we analyze your running profile, which allows us to start predicting speed performance, injury susceptibility, primary injury sites, ...etc. Analysis of running kinematics, running economy and joint loading to start assessing injury risk
- We use MotionMetrix software and cameras. This system analyzes all essential aspects of running biomechanics. No markers are needed on your body
- Based on this analysis, we will see if there is enough support to your body, whether you need new orthotics. Here we work with professionals who can make the right orthotics or other materials for you
- Bring sports clothes for this (not too loose clothing, so that your knee and hip joint can be clearly visualized). Also bring some running shoes, this way we can see if they are suitable for your running style.
Exercise testing on bicycle or treadmill
You can choose from 3 types of exercise tests that can be performed both on a treadmill and on a bicycle ergometer. The total duration of the consultation depends on the chosen exercise test. You will always receive a test report with all the results.

Description
This test is ideal for recreational athletes. You will get personalized training zones that will bring structure to achieving your goals.

Threshold test + lactate
Description
Our most comprehensive test adds lactate measurements. The anaerobic threshold is determined and this is the best predictor of endurance performance.

Extra tips:
- Last heavy workout at least 2 days before test date
- Carbohydrate-rich food the night before until 2-3 hours before test collection
- Be rested, sleep deprivation has a negative effect on performance
- Drink plenty throughout the day and take sports drinks with you for after the test
